HNHB LHIN Balanced Scorecard
Overview
A Balanced Scorecard is an integrated approach to looking at performance from a financial and non-financial perspective. Developed by Robert S. Kaplan & David P. Norton, the Balanced Scorecard is a framework, characterized as a “strategic management system” and is a management/ measurement tool that translates the organization's strategy into tangible objectives and measures.
The measures represent a balance between external measures for stakeholders and customers and internal measures for business processes, innovation, learning and growth. The HNHB LHIN Balanced Scorecard
The Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Brant LHIN balanced scorecard reports performance across four domains that are the cornerstones of the LHIN’s mission and vision. By tracking these four domains, we can ensure we are being accountable both to the people in our LHIN as well as to the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
The scorecard captures information that we provide to the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care as part of our quarterly report. The data provided reflects different time periods based on its availability, and mostly reports on the HNHB LHIN health system performance for the proceeding 3-6 months (please see individual graphs for more details on the time periods).
As we continue to produce the scorecard each quarter, indicators may change, based on their usefulness and the availability of data.
Fourth Quarter data has now been updated.
Please select one of the four domains to see the scorecard results.
