To help create a better health system, healthier residents, and residents who are engaged in their health care, community engagement at the HNHB LHIN will:

  • Expand the way decision makers think in order to stimulate creative solutions for a sustainable health system.
  • Encourage system wide planning and evaluation that is focused on residents.
  • Stimulate and demonstrate shared dialogue among stakeholders, health service providers and the community for creating solutions together.
  • Increase the ways residents can participant in decision making and health care planning through opportunities for engagement with the HNHB LHIN and it’s Health Service Providers.
  • Increase the positive profile of the HNHB LHIN among its residents as a responsive and credible organization.
